Health promotion initiatives are gaining popularity in the workplace in efforts to maximize employee health and well-being. These programs often emphasize exercise, nutrition, weight loss, and reducing substance use (e.g., smoking and alcohol) as the central points of intervention for improving employee health. Surprisingly, sleep gets little attention in these programs, if any at all.
