Airline employees aren’t the only stressed workers

Focuses on the issue of job strain. A survey by ComPsych found that 56% of employees report that stress makes it more difficult to focus at work. 33% of employees stated they had been late or absent because of stress at work. 21% said that high strain caused them to make errors or miss deadlines, while 15% said that strain caused them to have more trouble getting along with coworkers and their bosses. One consultant suggests asking employees how they are doing to assess their strain levels, distributing workloads evenly, and keeping the long-term success of the organization in mind.
