This article focuses on the role artificial intelligence will play in the employee experience and techniques that may aid in the implementation of technology. The article states that artificial intelligence chatbots can be used for recruitment, employee service, employee training and development, and coaching. AI and chatbots are also being utilized to write job descriptions and conduct video interviews in a more objective, less biased manner, which can increase efficiency and effectiveness. The article states that there are barriers to using AI and chatbots, such as fear of job loss among employees (especially those in HR), lack of skills, and management change required to help employees adapt to the increased use of AI. The article lists ways to help with the transition, such as experimenting with piloting chatbots, working across departments, being clear on implications, identifying new job roles, and increase training for current HR members. The article concludes that AI will continue to play a role in the HR process.
