This article focuses on the workplace environment and its importance for employee mental health and well-being. According to a well-being in the workplace study conducted in the UK, organizations that create the right environment for their employees had a positive impact on employee health, well-being, job satisfaction, and productivity. Further, research shows physical design affects mental health and happiness, making the physical environment important for mental and physical health. The article concludes by stating those companies that prioritize employee engagement and well-being outperform those that do not.
